Maybe?

Maybe?

Ever had one of those moments when you have lyrics to a song that you hate stuck in your head? Seriously, it’ll be like the most god-awful song, and you can’t get it out of your head. That’s been me…for the last three days.

For some reason, unbeknownst to me, and the rest of the general population, that annoying song, “Call Me Maybe” has been playing nonstop. On Every. Single. Station. Seriously, it’s on when I wake up. When I’m driving to work. When I’m listening to the radio at work.  And now, to make matters worse, the lyrics have managed to seep into my subconscious.  So at the oddest times I find myself humming the lyrics.  In fact, the entire time I’ve been typing this, I’ve been internally humming the melody. *UGH* I feel like a pregnant woman who’s two weeks past her due date. Get it out of me!!!

Listen to me if you want to hate you life

I thought nothing could top that song “Love” by Keshia Cole. You know the one that sounds as if a wounded water buffalo is howling.  But this song should be the elevator music on the ride down to hell. Can you imagine being subjected to listening to that for all of eternity? It’s enough to drive anyone to sainthood.

Anyhow, to all of my new followers, I swear I’m not always this whinny, but that song is driving me nuts.  So that said, welcome to my little corner of the blogging world. BTW, I know I just met you, and this is crazy, but here’s my new post, so comment, maybe?

  1. Never heard that particular song but that is the exact reason that I don't listen to top 40 radio. They play a song to death. You might start out loving it but before long you just want it to go away.

    1. I can't hate on The Moves Like Jagger because Adam Levine is so freakin' hot. But yeah, I should just be thankful it's not a Beiber song stuck in my head.

  3. It always seems like the most annoying songs are the ones that get stuck in your head the quickest... Call Me, Maybe is now stuck in my head, too!

  4. Haha...that song is playing everywhere here too. The worst part is my daughter loves it and begs to listen it to even when it isn't on the radio.

    1. Thank God my daughter is too young to want to listen to certain songs. However, I'm sure by the time she hits her teens, they'll have plenty of other annoying songs for her to chose to torture mommy with...

  5. Lol! Love the "Comment, Maybe?" lyrics, haha. Super cute. And I know what you mean. I have to admit I kinda get into these songs though. I hate getting them stuck in my head but I catch myself singing along in the car. I just blame it on my daughter.

Thanks for stopping by my blog too!
