You'll need four things
A nice size pot
A set of tongs
A few cups of water
And some vinegar
All you're going to do is put the water into the pot and bring it to a slow boil, then add the vinegar. Then, briefly submerge whatever it is that your trying to remove the label from. Using your tongs pull out your jar and place it on the counter to cool. Then pat it down and viola! No more sticky label.
Now you're free to do whatever projects you want to. In fact I have quite a few fun little things that I've been working on for you guys. But that will follow in a later post.
The reason I like this method (which I have of course termed the Reese method.) is because the vinegar gives the jars nice clean shine, and the heat from boiling the jars dries them up pronto. So you don't have to try and squeeze your fingers into the baby jars in an attempt to dry the inside.
I'm going to have to post a list of useful things you can do with vinegar. This stuff is like liquid gold. It's awesome. Anyhow, if you've got your own personal method for removing those annoyingly stubborn sticky labels, leave me a comment. I may have to test yours out as well.
Until next time
