With summer officially over, it's time for us to break out our fall wardrobes and begin decorating for the season. I try to start each season off on a great foot, and I've learned through the years that chocolate always puts me in the mood to clean or decorate. So today I've decided to share my favorite recipe for hot coco with you guys. If you're a fan of the hot coco at Starbucks, then you'll love this, because this is a cheaper version of the coco they serve.
1/4 cup of hot water
2 tablespoons of unsweetened coco powder
2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
1 1/2 cup of milk
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1. Combine the water, coco, and sugar in a microwavable bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir up the mixture to create a chocolate like syrup.
2. Add the milk to the container and microwave for an additional 1-1 1/2 minutes and remove from microwave. Add vanilla extract and stir well. Pour coco into a mug and top with whipped cream if desired.
3. Curl up on the couch and enjoy your Yummy Hot Chocolatey Goodness Coco.
