Thanksgiving Bliss

Thanksgiving Bliss

Happy Post-Thanksgiving Everyone,

I hope your bellies are still humming in appreciation of all the yummy food that you have partaken in these past few days. I also hope your scales are being a lot nicer to you than mine is to me. Obviously the darn thing is broken...That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!

I know I disappeared on you guys for a while, but the fam and I decided to head to Myrtle Beach to spend Thanksgiving with the rest of the gang. We had a blast. Jasmine got to feel the sand between her toes for the first time. And as most babies do, she made a beeline for the ocean as soon as  I put her down on the beach for the first time. Thus adding even more strands of gray hair to my head. I swear this kid is determined to have me salt and peppered by the time she hits preschool.

I don't know about you guys, but our Thanksgiving was great. We had such an amazing mixture of food and family. We had some delish southern food, a little dash of soul food and some wonderful Korean yummies to top it off. We even managed to sneak in a bit of German. One thing I can say about my family is we like to mix it up a bit.

Anyhow, please bear with me while I try to survive my upcoming tests and catch up on some much needed blogging. As always, don't be shy, be sure to drop me a line letting me know what you guys did for Thanksgiving.

P.S. Expect pics soon!

XOXO Reese
