Now that I'm finally on the mend, I'm back in the kitchen and prepping for Christmas parties. I've had this festive holiday dessert idea swirling around in my head for a while, and yesterday I finally had the opportunity to put it to the test.
Of all the recipe ideas I've had in the last year or so (and believe me, they have been plentiful) this was one of my favorites. Not only do they look beautiful, but they taste amazing. After all, what's not to like, white chocolate and Oreo's? Yes please.
These White Chocolate Oreo's are PERFECT for holiday parties or foodie gifts. I don't know about you, but I'm not a fan of spending hours in the kitchen, so I love the fact that these cookies look like you've put in quite a bit of time in the kitchen, when in reality, they're super easy to make. That's what I like to call a win-win.
Ingredients
12 OREOs1 cup white chocolate or candy melts
1/4 cup red candy melts
1/4 cup green candy melts
2 teaspoon coconut oil, optional
Directions

Repeat with all OREOs, completely covering each one with white chocolate or candy melts. Allow the white chocolate to set before moving onto the next step of the recipe. Place the red candy melts in a small microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds, stirring well.
